Summary: A Copywriter is responsible for writing clear, concise, and engaging content for marketing materials and advertising platforms. Their work can help create a company's first impression and can be used in a variety of places, such as emails, websites, and landing pages. Copywriters often work closely with designers to ensure their message is clear. Copywriters typically have the following skills and responsibilities:
Research: Copywriters may need to conduct keyword research
Copywriters can work for marketing, branding, and advertising agencies as employees or freelancers
Requirements
May need a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Communications, Advertising, Marketing, English, or writing, to be competitive for jobs
Writing, editing, and proofreading: Copywriters should have excellent writing skills and be able to proofread their work to ensure quality; They should also be familiar with style guides
Attention to detail: Copywriters should have a keen eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
Brand voice: Copywriters should be able to demonstrate a brand's voice
Collaboration: Copywriters should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with others
Copywriters may also need experience with: Search engine optimization (SEO), Social media advertising, and Content management systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
