The Copywriter will need to have a sophisticated style of writing that builds upon the current tonality of the Flexjet brand. This position will be part of the Marketing Department, with responsibilities that may cross over into various areas of the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Create and deliver engaging content for print and electronic platforms; including but not limited to web pages, event and partnership materials, direct mail, email blasts, customer prospecting pieces, FXLUXE Travel Guides as well as print and digital advertising.
Own, produce and manage all Flexjet event, partnership, travel guide, boutique and lifestyle-oriented content.
Help contribute to the Flexjet Blog with regular lifestyle and travel-oriented pieces.
Ability to confidently approach senior executives to gather business-critical insights to strategically inform copy for maximum effectiveness.
Proactively seek out information to inform assigned writing projects from subject matter experts from across all functions of the company.
Collaborate with Studio One, the in-house design team at Flexjet, to concept ideas that maximize the power of visuals when paired with compelling language.
Ability to write based on the strategic balance of content development that speaks to search engine optimization while also upholding a compelling voice for the intended audience.
Copyedit, proofread, revise existing content and always have an eye for what it truly takes for a draft to make it to “Final” form.
Maintain knowledge of existing trends as well as best practices for content creation.
Support all writing with a crisp rationale about how and why a provided draft is structured to achieve maximum effectiveness.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree: English, journalism, marketing, business or communications.
5+ years’ experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously, and work in a team environment.
Ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook).
Demonstrate a history of success in the mediums of advertising, social media, conceptual campaigns, product launches, branding and customer/lead acquisition and retention materials.
Ability to accept feedback and work collaboratively as part of a team while still advocating a clear creative vision.

Expected travel of 10-15%
