As a Copywriter, you will work closely with our cofounder to help audit, research, and write copy that allows our clients to launch new products, promote case studies & boost their marketing collateral.


About Conversion Factory

Conversion Factory is made up of a small but talented crew of marketing & design experts. We are a product marketing agency for SaaS companies. We work directly with early-stage startups who don’t have an in-house product marketing team to improve their positioning, branding, and convert more traffic into revenue. We bring expertise both on the marketing and design sides, to truly be in an all in one solution for a growing org.


We work directly with clients’ CEOs or Marketing heads from some of your favorite brands like SavvyCal, Crazy Egg & Baremetrics. Our job is to turn awareness into tangible revenue for our clients. We have helped clients 10x their ARR and doubled visitor to sign up conversion rates for software onboarding flows from our marketing expertise. You’ll be tasked with everything from developing sales decks to landing pages to positioning statements and more. Tasks vary from one hour to one month – we’ve seen it all.


Job Overview

In this role, you’ll work directly with our cofounder to spearhead all marketing and copywriting tasks for clients. You’ll have to balance both speed and quality. The nature of our business model as a productized service is that we only work on one marketing-related task at a time per client, so we aim to complete tasks within 1-3 days so the client is frequently receiving value from our service.

Given the fast growth of our clients, they hire us with the expectations of high quality. This means your work is highly valued, but also highly scrutinized, and will be held to a high standard. This is a great training ground to sharpen your skills, get exposure to many different SaaS companies, and do work that sees the light of day and makes a difference for clients.


As the Copywriter, you will spearhead both the research and execution of different client requests. You will be expected to meet deadlines and approach problems from a research backed standpoint. This is the perfect opportunity for both the technical and creative individual


Who You Are

You are excellent at research. Whether it’s getting your hands dirty in a SaaS product or researching consumer behavior within a niche, you put your personal bias aside and use research from product reviews to customer interviews to guide your copywriting that would appeal to the end-user.


You have written copy across multiple mediums. You’re not simply a landing page copywriter. You enjoy working across different mediums. From SaaS onboarding flows to sales pitch decks to welcome emails, you’ve seen it all and enjoy writing across each.


You are task-oriented. The work is always clearly scoped with a clear deliverable and you are able to follow templates and procedures for each type of task. You’re quick to work and able to hit a deadline when promised.


You have worked in the B2B space. We aren’t marketing Snuggies. Most of our clients are selling B2B software – you know how to make words sing off the page when addressing a marketer, CEO, head of finance, or any persona our customers are selling to.

Required Competencies & Experience

  • Copywriting experience for a B2B SaaS business
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, etc for research purposes
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team environment
  • Excellent verbal communication skills required
  • Creative ability to develop 2-3 concepts for clients upon initial draft
  • An enthusiastic team player who loves feedback and takes ownership
