About The Role

Financial Intelligence Unit Manager
As a Manager in our Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), you'll lead a team of investigators, both locally and internationally.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of General Investigations staff, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), managing case volumes, and tracking production trends.
Develop and implement frameworks for production and quality metrics.
Collaborate with Transaction Monitoring and Compliance Operations teams to enhance monitoring rules and investigative processes.
Lead various ad hoc projects related to emerging investigation processes, data analysis, and identifying areas for improvement.
Act as the primary resource for team members on escalated investigative issues.
Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and training to team members.
Drive employee development, performance evaluation, and corrective action.
Establish and enforce team objectives, policies, and procedures to align with departmental and organizational goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (equivalent relevant experience may be considered)
Master's degree in business or related field, or law degree preferred
7+ years of experience in AML Investigations and Suspicious Activity Reporting
5+ years of direct management experience
2+ years of process improvement experience, achieving operational efficiencies
Familiarity with BSA laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Professional certifications such as CAMS, CFE, or ICA in Financial Crime Prevention preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage time-critical situations effectively
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with BSA transaction monitoring or case management applications
Additional Information
This position may be filled at the Manager or Senior Manager level based on the candidate's experience.
