Overview

Job Summary

Oversees the submission of award applications, including identifying new awards. Reviews grants and contracts ensuring compliance. Serves as liaison between sponsoring agencies and the System.

Essential Functions

  • Reviews and analyzes new awards as they are received and assists in submission to sponsoring agencies.
  • Ensures grants and contracts are handled seamlessly by coordinating all processes.
  • Communicates with internal groups, sponsoring agencies and principal investigators to resolve any issues within the grant and contracting process.
  • Reviews and creates reports to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Serves as a liaison between the System and the sponsoring agencies.
  • Provides education to research community in terms of federal regulations.

Physical Requirements

Work environment includes office and community settings with auto travel necessary. Work requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting and reaching.

Education, Experience And Certifications

Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 3-5 years experience related to grants and contracts administration required.
