We are seeking a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu specifications. The Cook will work closely with the kitchen team to execute culinary dishes, maintain a clean workstation, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and cook food according to recipes.
Follow food safety procedures and guidelines.
Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to prepare high-quality dishes.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
Ensure all food preparation areas are sanitary and organized.
Assist in developing new menu items and specials.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar setting.
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management skills.
Team player with good communication abilities.
High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma is a plus.
