The Company

Raveival is an online marketplace to buy and sell secondhand music festival fashion. Currently, Raveival enables festival fashion circularity with Treet. 

Referred to by Vogue as the “5th season of retail,” festival wear has become a massive market. In 2022, nearly 27 million brand-new festival outfits were purchased, and one-third of them were worn only one time (thredUP). Because of these climate impacts, we made it our mission to bring the sustainability of thrifting culture to the dance floor.

The Job

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Co-Founder, you will be at the forefront of our operational and strategic endeavors, driving our mission and vision while helping shape the future of the Company. Raveival is an early-stage business, so you’ll need to balance being hands-on with being a big-picture strategist and leader. This role is ideal for someone who wants to help build a B2C2C company from the ground up.

As the COO, you will be critical in defining and executing our organizational frameworks and roadmap, building and leading teams, and promoting high-quality and strategic goals for business operations. You will collaborate closely with our CEO to raise capital and secure funding for our growth and expansion.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a comprehensive operational strategy that aligns with the Company’s objectives
• Advise the CEO, and all of the C-suite and management, as a trusted thought leader
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of employees, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Oversee daily operations of the Company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)
• Develop and manage annual and quarterly budgets
• Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, and evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
• Establish policies that promote company culture and our vision
• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, or a related field required
• Proven Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a COO role or a similar leadership position
• Results-driven/goal-oriented
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills
• An entrepreneurial spirit

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Degrees (a plus, but not required)
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Startup experience
