Controls Tester

Client: Financial Services

Role: Controls Tester

Location: San Antonio, TX (remote)

Duration: 6 months (potential to extend/convert)

Rate: $40-50/hr

Overview of Expectations:

Ability to analyze risk and control data and determine a risk-based scope for a given process.

Experience developing the test scripts for control and transactional tests.

Experience with control testing and transactional testing

Able to analyze compliance with complex policies/procedures and laws/regulations.

Strong writing skills to ensure work papers are supported with analysis and conclusions of test findings.

Follow direction of Leads/Director, to include providing input on areas of testing.

Utilizing critical thinking and project management skills aid the ECORT testing team in completing all tasks in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Experience conducting compliance and operational risk testing, quality control, quality assurance or audit.

High attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and/or gaps.

Strong writing skills to ensure work papers are supported with analysis and conclusions of test findings

Critical and strategic thinking ability and understanding of risk management principles.

Tools: Excel (primary), Archer (viewing, not working in Archer specifically)
