What You Will Be Doing
Perform checkout, start-up and testing of BMS DDC controllers serving a wide variety of mechanical systems in Data Centers and other critical environments.
Write, test, and commission BMS control programs to match complex Sequences of Operation
Document project status and participate in the creation and accuracy of close-out documents.
Write and follow detailed Method of Procedure (MOP), Change Management (CM) forms and process.
Perform BMS commissioning, including Pre-functional, Functional, and Integrated Systems Testing processes, both individually, and with 3rd-Party/Customer commissioning agents.
Perform periodic Maintenance and Service of existing BMS systems in an active Data Center environment
Support multiple concurrent projects in the Eastern Oregon and Washington areas.
What You Need for this Position
Four year degree (ME / EE preferred) or Two year degree / apprenticeship plus equivalent work experience or (5+ years) automation / controls field experience required.
Five+ years experience in programming, startup, and testing of BMS and/or PLC systems desired
Tridium Niagara AX / N4 Certification and Distech ECLYPSE experience strongly preferred, Siemens or
Schneider experience a plus.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience with AutoDesk AutoCAD and/or MS Visio and/or Bluebeam Revu preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
Successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary
Local travel required to Eastern Oregon and Eastern Washington areas, with occasional overnight travel
