A South Bay healthcare company is looking for a Controller to join their team. In this role, the Controller will be responsible for overseeing month-end close, financial reporting, project work with financial systems, and leading the audit. What do you need for this Controller role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 15+ years of accounting experience, 10+ years of experience as a manager
• CPA or CMA highly preferred
• MUST have healthcare and/or distribution experience

What will you do in this Controller role?

• Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.
• Provide insightful analysis of financial results to senior management and external stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow projections and manage working capital effectively.
• Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and liquidity.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and manage the annual audit process.
• Liaise with external auditors and oversee tax compliance and reporting.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the ERP system and ensure accurate financial data management and reporting capabilities.
