Job Opportunity: Accounting Controller with ERP Implementation Expertise

We are seeking a talented Accounting Controller with expertise in ERP implementation and perpetual inventory management to join our team.

Position Overview: Controller (will become President after a few years)

Responsibilities: As the Accounting Controller, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Leading the implementation of an ERP system, streamlining processes, and enhancing data accuracy and visibility.
• Overseeing perpetual inventory management, including tracking inventory levels, analyzing trends, and optimizing inventory turnover.
• Developing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and achieve business objectives.
• Providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.

Qualifications: We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; food manufacturing industry exp a huge plus.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have small business experience (ideally less than 40 people)
• Extensive experience with perpetual inventory management and inventory control best practices.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
