The ideal candidate will be responsible for monthly closing processes, forecasting, budgeting, and assisting the CFO with acquisition integrations.
Responsibilities
Act as a strategic business partner by developing robust month-end close processes and providing support for the operations team.
Oversee the Business Unit's general accounting function, which includes internal financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and Budget and Forecast Analysis.
Make sure the monthly financial close process and preparation of financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows, are delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist the CFO with implementing Company and department-wide policies and procedures.
Responsible for preparing monthly/quarterly account reconciliations and other documents
Be the Main contact point for the business unit operations team.
Detailed analysis of maintenance expenses accounts
Reconciliation of fixed asset counts
Monitoring costs associated with assets
Responsible for accounting of inventory, inventory adjustment, and related devaluation/shrinkage reserves.
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by the CFO.
Business transactions are reported by generally accepted accounting principles.
Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
Assist with the annual audit process, including the draft of the financial statements and related notes.
Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Assist CFO with International acquisition integrations.
Qualifications
5+ years' of professional accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
CPA a plus
Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP a plus
