Role Overview:

Seel is looking for an experienced, strategic, results-driven Controller to build out and lead our accounting and operational finance.

Responsibilities

• Build out and lead the accounting function at Seel
• Deliver timely, accurate and efficient accounting close on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Ensures the accuracy of the company’s financial status and reported results. Investigate and explain book to physical adjustments.
• Own day to day accounting functions including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, treasury management, procurement, and general ledger accounting.
• Lead the preparation and completion of the budgeting process and develop forecasts/reforecasts to provide an accurate projection of financial performance.
• Provides support with preparation and completion of the fiscal year budgeting process, evaluates business unit performance against budget, and develops forecasts/reforecasts to provide an accurate projection of financial performance.
• Own financial compliance and risk management for Seel. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards, and tax obligations.
• Participate and/or lead special projects as the business identifies and requires and provide support for other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.
• Support financial modeling for cross-functional teams as needed, including risk modeling.
