VP Controller
Pinpoint Talent has an immediate opportunity for a Controller
As our client’s Controller, you will be pivotal in driving change, managing a large accounting team, and scaling the company's operations. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the financial direction and growth of a pre-revenue company with a $6 billion market cap.
~ Top Requirements of the Controller ~
- Proven experience at a public company with a similar market cap
- Background in a Big 4 accounting firm
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Extensive experience in larger companies and managing managers
- Bio Tech experience is a plus but not required
- Willingness to work in the office 2-3 days a week
~ What You'll Do as a Controller ~
- Lead and manage a team of 14, including Assistant Controller, Director of Accounting, SEC, and Treasury
- Drive and manage change processes to help scale the company
- Evaluate team strengths and weaknesses to optimize roles and responsibilities
- Implement process improvements, ERP systems, and automation initiatives
- Strategically align and optimize accounting operations for efficiency and growth
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and leadership to drive strategic initiatives

- Strategic mindset with a focus on process improvement and scaling operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a large team
- Proven track record in driving change and optimizing accounting functions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with 2-3 days in the office
