Davinci Micro Fulfillment® is a micro fulfillment as a service solution that partners with consumer brands and retailers to support their fast, forward fulfillment with an end-to-end solution that includes front-end merchandising, Network Optimization, and fulfillment services provided from our micro-fulfillment centers.

Brands that have traditionally sold their products to brick-and-mortar retailers oftentimes struggle to effectively manage marketing, merchandising, inventory planning, and fulfillment operations of eCommerce channels. This leads to poor item revenue, unacceptably long lead-times from “purchase to porch” for the consumers, and painfully high costs to fulfill (picking, packing, parcel shipping). Utilizing a physical location network comes with its own challenges from a technology, order routing, inventory management, and ultimately profitability problem. We help solve all of these issues.

The Controller provides critical financial and administrative services in the areas of financing operations, financial and capital planning, annual budgeting, receipt and disbursement of funds, accounting, procurement, and asset management.

• Monitoring - Expected to monitor the financial health of the organization, including keeping careful tabs on its regular transactions, investments and any business deals that affect the bottom line. They should also be well-versed in the company's financial statements, as well as in the internal budget.
• Financial Reporting - Responsible for composing and issuing the financial reports given out by the company to investors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders. Many of these documents require that one or more top-ranking executives sign their names, testifying to their accuracy.
• Procurement strategy – responsible for building and maintaining a procurement strategy for supplies, suppliers, equipment, automation, janitorial, and trash removal for all locations, as well as software and other operational or technological procurement decisions.
• Advise the CEO and other key members of senior management on financial planning budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.
• Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping the CEO informed of all critical issues.
• Represent the organization externally, as necessary, particularly in banking, other capital partners, and lease negotiations.
  
  
  

Finance Operations

Strategic, administrative, and operational accounting services such as account reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Plan, coordinate, and execute the weekly and monthly invoicing process.

Provide support and leadership to Davinci’s internal management team including monthly controllership capabilities and general accounting.

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a controller role ideally with either external audit or in-house financial management experience gained in a high growth organization.

High proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Microsoft Office (particularly excel) and overall understanding of supply chain and operations finance.

Must be familiar with finance and accounting regulations.

Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.

Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict
