Overview
The Controller is responsible for overseeing the accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring accurate accounting and financial reporting, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and maintaining internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Controller is responsible for overseeing the accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring accurate accounting and financial reporting, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and maintaining internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA preferred
- 7-10 years of accounting experience.
- Strong leadership and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, Hyperion) and advanced Excel skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily management of all ledgers, accounts, and payroll.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and closing processes.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for management.
- Ensure all financial data is accurate, complete, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and recommendations.
- Implement and maintain effective internal control systems.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Oversee and improve financial systems and software.
- Ensure data integrity and the efficient use of financial technology.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- $125,000-$175,000. Wage differential is based on experience, training and education.
