Location: fully remote (Los Angeles HQ)
Salary: $175,000 per annum plus bonus and equity
Summary:
This role offers a wide range of responsibilities and an opportunity to grow with a growing company. The company offers a competitive base salary, bonus, and an equity component. The Controller will lead the accounting function with no direct staff - the accounting team is outsourced to a third party, allowing this Controller to have some time to partner with the CFO on more strategic matters.
Responsibilities will include generation of all financial statements, financial reporting, compliance, enhancement of internal controls, risk management, oversight of cash flow, working capital, and some treasury/cash operations.
All of the following are required:
1) 10+ years accounting experience
2) QuickBooks or NetSuite
3) Early stage company experience
4) Consumer products industry experience, big box retail exposure (this is not an Ecommerce model...the company sells their products into retailers)
5) Exposure to trade promotions/deductions, EDI and Inventory Cycle Counts
