Responsibilities:
We are seeking skilled legal writers to join our team on a part-time, freelance basis. Contributors will write blog posts, case studies, and white papers. This role involves independent research, writing, and self-editing, targeting an audience of practicing trial attorneys and expert witnesses. Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely and managing your own schedule, provided that you meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
JD is required for this contract position
Understanding of the litigation process, case lifecycle, and the role of expert witnesses
Understanding of the litigation landscape and noteworthy cases that are shaping the news narrative today
Experience conducting legal research using Docket Alarm, Fastcase, LexisNexis, Westlaw, or other legal research platforms
Experience with professional blogging, SEO, and content marketing is a plus
Experience with Trello or similar project management software is a plus
All candidates must submit two writing samples.
