The Contracts and Policy Development Analyst is a non-attorney position responsible for assisting Central Health's legal team analyzing and developing contracts and policies related to healthcare operations, compliance, and policy development under the direction of the Associate Counsel. The Contracts and Policy Development Analyst will assist the Associate Counsel in developing policies and procedures that support Central Health's medical practice and clinical operations. Responsibilities include contract management, policy development, and collaboration with the Medical Executive Board on operational matters.

  • Perform under general guidance and supervision of Associate Counsel with accountability for specific organizational and individual goals
  • Support organizational goals and objectives to optimize the health of the covered population, reduce health disparities, and improve clinical outcomes, health equity, patient experience and costs of care throughout the delivery system
  • Support and assist Associate Counsel in the analysis, development, deployment and management of effective, efficient, and equitable clinical services to Central Health’s covered population through a variety of methods including contracted services, clinical services oversight, clinical support infrastructure development and oversight of direct service delivery
  • Work collaboratively with others to support Central Health’s health care services annual contracting activities including contract renewals, periodic amendments, performance management, notices, and terminations as applicable
  • Assist Associate Counsel with legal research projects involving the review of federal, state and local laws and regulations, including health care law, procurement and contract law, administrative law including applicable proposed legislation as needed for Associate Counsel to advise clinical and operational leadership fully and effectively
  • Support Associate Counsel in the creation and implementation of programs, policies, operational processes and controls that build a culture of compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Assist Associate Counsel with legal projects that apply and promote health care industry best practices and recommend opportunities for better compliance and improvement
  • Supervise administrative and paralegal staff as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Associate Counsel and Chief Legal Counsel
  • Bachelor's Degree


and Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
