Job Description

The UnitedLex Contracts Services Group is excited to hire a Contracts Analyst into our expanding, dynamic team to support existing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and quality check Non Disclosure / Confidentiality Agreements, Joinder Agreements and Non-Reliance Letters to meet expectations of our client, a top financial institution.
  • Participate in calls with our client and negotiation calls with counterparties.
  • Exercise excellent professional judgement in negotiation and redlining; resolve first-level disputes and escalate appropriate questions to client’s senior legal team.
  • Collaborate with client legal team to resolve issues, develop efficient and effective negotiation strategies, and update and maintain client playbooks accordingly.
  • Ensure adherence to client playbook and standardization expectations.
  • Assume ownership and responsibility over day-to-day client relationship, team dynamics within UnitedLex, personal and domain growth, and continued delivery excellence.
  • Build and strengthen strong working relationships with clients based on confidence, performance, accountability, and visibility.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients via daily calls, video calls, and in-person engagement (when practicable).
  • Identify and develop business expansion opportunities within the client’s business environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be a law school graduate with an active law license in at least one US jurisdiction.
  • 1-4 years of contracts negotiation and management experience
  • Excellent understanding of NDAs within a business environment, with the ability to use standard terms and understand objectives of the receiver of confidential information and the discloser of confidential information.
  • General understanding of a variety of business/financial contracts including MSAs, SOWs, Credit Agreements, Financial NDAs, and corresponding Amendments.
  • As the initial client is a financial institution, some knowledge around the loan syndication market is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Role will be fully remote, but expected to be available for usual business hours in the United States, with ability to respond to after-hours requests, as required by the business.
  • Must be able to maintain a quiet working environment with consistent broadband connection.

Salary Range

The salary range for this role reflects the range of factors that inform case-by-case compensation decisions including education, experience, training, licensure, certification, and geography as well as the business and organizational needs specific to the role. Compensation ranges may be broad, reflecting flexibility within the budget and title to consider candidates of varied experience. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this role is $65,000 to $72,000. Select roles are additionally eligible for Incentive Compensation in the form of our Annual Performance Bonus Program or Sales Commission Policy.
