Contracts Management Specialist (Mid-Senior) - San Diego, CA
Responsibilities: Provide overarching Contract and Program Management support for a large division within major Navy program office. Directly assist Contract Officer Representative and Assistant Program Manager overseeing cost, schedule, performance, and risk management for development and execution of contracts for a high visibility, dynamic Acquisition Category (ACAT) II program. Tasking will involve providing vendor training on contract data requirements list (CDRL) process, tracking vendor deliverables for each task order award, process CDRLs through the review and acceptance workflow, and maintaining a database, such as CMPro, on the status of all contract deliverables. Assist with development, and revise as required, contract documentation to such as Delivery Orders, Statement of Work (SOW), Ordering Table, Government-Furnished Material (GFM) Table, Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE) and CDRLs. Provide support for the assessment of current contract actions, provide analysis of vendor requests and questions, management initiatives, cost benefit analysis, and metric development. Perform information gathering, analysis, and preparation of data call responses and responses to information requests. Assist clients with preparing program level meetings, briefings, or conference and meeting summaries for program wide distribution; needs to ensure alignment of program messages and clear communication to internal and external program stakeholders. Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in program management support to be able to correlate information from a decision-making perspective.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience with contract management
Experience with Navy and DoD processes, specifically related to contract award and management
Ability to comprehend contract information quickly and translate it for comprehension at all experience and seniority levels
Candidate will need to be well-versed in management of cost/schedule/performance for a large acquisition program (ACAT I/II) in a very dynamic, high visibility environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of tools specifically MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint for tracking purposes and supporting executive level briefings and documents.

Strong organization skills to lead and run Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Working Group meetings
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with accuracy and reliability
Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification or DAWIA equivalent certification
Security Clearance level: Secret clearance
Location: San Diego, hybrid
Salary Range: $80,000 - $140,000 doe
