You'll dive into diverse educational topics, drawing from your personal experiences and insights gained in the classroom. Your ability to conduct thorough research, express a distinct viewpoint backed by evidence, and deliver high-quality content such as news articles, reviews, and features will be crucial.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth research on various education-related topics, focusing on classroom, school, or district issues.

Utilize personal experiences to craft insightful articles that resonate with fellow educators.

Identify compelling stories within the education sphere, drawing from your firsthand knowledge.

Tailor content to address the needs and perspectives of teachers.

Ensure that your articles reflect the authentic voice and viewpoint of an educator.

Contribute to brainstorming sessions for content ideas and publication themes.

Stay abreast of local, national, and international developments in the field of education.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience as a certified educator, spanning grades PreK-16.

Commitment to submitting at least one article per week.

Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office, digital editing tools, and online research.

Excellent written communication skills in English.

Capacity to write candidly and insightfully about classroom experiences, supported by research or personal observations.

Keen awareness of current "hot button" topics in education, with the ability to address them promptly and thoughtfully.

We invite you to submit a writing sample for consideration. Your piece should be 600-1000 words in length, focusing on an education-related topic of your choice. Please ensure that your submission has not been previously published elsewhere, as we may offer to feature it on our platform if it aligns with our guidelines.
