Role Description

We seek full and part-time CFOs and Controllers to work on projects for our PE client base. Consultants may work on a 1099 or W2 Contingent basis. Consulting CFOs or Controllers will be responsible for assisting our clients with day-to-day accounting, financial planning & analysis, process optimization projects, quality of earnings studies, interim roles, etc. Our diverse client based provides exposure to many different industries and business models resulting in interesting projects and opportunities to expand your skill set.

Qualifications

• Must have worked for a private equity owned portfolio company or private equity firm itself for at least 2 years, ideally having been a part of a team that the candiate helped exit to another buyer
• Must be comfortable with the project-based nature of the business and be willing to stay with the project until completion
• Strong financial planning, financial statement analysis skills. Ability to see the story behind the nubmers.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, ideally with advanced functions, pivot tables, Power BI, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to get projects completed via influence and rapport with client personnel and not necessarily with formal authority.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP accounting and financial reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Expertise with various mid-market software packages such as NetSuite, Intacct, Acumatica, SAGE 100, 500, etc. would be very helpful
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
