Job Title: Contract Administrator (Independent Contractor - Temporary)

Reports To: General Counsel

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct reports

Location: Washington, DC or Remote

Salary Range: $30 - $40 hourly

Job Overview

The Contract Administrator position supports managing contract records, performing data entry, and ensuring the proper implementation of naming conventions into our existing files. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in records management and be proficient in using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software. This is a needs-based Independent Contractor position with an anticipated 16 week period of performance (flexibility with regards to number of hours per day).

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Organize, maintain, and update contract records to ensure accurate and efficient retrieval of documents.
  • Accurately enter data related to contracts and agreements into our systems.
  • Upload executed agreements into the Ironclad CLM, ensuring that all relevant documents are correctly categorized and stored.
  • Implement standardized naming conventions for contract files and ensure that existing files are renamed and organized according to these standards.
  • Ensure all records and data entries comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with other departments to gather necessary information for contract management and to streamline processes.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to contract records and data entries promptly.

Education

Experience, Related Skills And Knowledge

  • Proficiency in a CLM system is required, Ironclad is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with, and an in depth understanding of, G-suite and the entire MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to organize a daily workload with competing priorities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.
  • Experience working with a federally funded non-profit organization preferred but not required.
