The Contracts Administrator is responsible for providing support to field teams in the creation, bidding, and implementation of natural gas contracts. This position will help identify and resolve contractual issues, assisting in critical decision-making roles as needed.
What are the responsibilities?
As a Contracts Administrator, you will:
Develop contracts and included specifications prior to bidding.
Assist field personnel by giving contractual support.
Review contracts for compliance with document management principles and records.
Identify new contractual issues and log status toward resolution.
Review bid documents and ensure compliance to bidding procedures.
Analyze cost and schedule reports.
May assist with risk management administration and reviewing contracts for risk allocation.
What are the requirements?
High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's Degree preferred
2+ years experience preparing, bidding, and implementing contracts
CDT (CSI) certification preferred
Some Oil & Gas industry knowledge (midstream engineering/construction)
MS Word, Excel, and Oracle skills
Understanding of contractual principals and industry-accepted concepts
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Strong attention to detail
