"We are looking to hire a UX contentstrategist who is a hybrid of a writer, a researcher, and a problem-solver. If you see yourself as a fit, you will possess skills in content strategy, user research, writing/editing, information architecture, collaboration, usability testing, analytics, creativity, attention to detail, and adaptability. You will work closely with UX designers, developers, marketers, and other stakeholders to craft clear, concise, and consistent content that helps users achieve their goals and aligns with the brand voice and tone. You will be responsible to develop comprehensive content strategies aligned with user needs, conduct research, create engaging copy, organize information effectively, collaborate with teams, conduct usability testing, analyze data, think creatively, pay attention to detail, and adapt to changing environments. You will be responsible for writing and editing headlines, labels, buttons, menus, instructions, errors, notifications, emails, and more. You will also conduct content audits, user research, usability testing, and content governance to ensure that the content meets the user needs and business objectives. You have full ownership to shape user-centered content, review with marketing as needed so that it enhances the overall user experience for our member facing platform.
Required Experience
Writing and editing user-facing content for websites, apps, and other digital products. In App UX Writing experience is critical for this role.
Collaborating with UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, clear, and consistent
Conducting user research to understand user needs and behaviors
Creating content guidelines and style guides to ensure consistent messaging across products
Developing content strategies to ensure content is optimized for user experience
Developing and maintaining a consistent voice and tone for all user-facing content
Creating and maintaining content inventories to ensure content is up-to-date and accurate
Developing content templates to ensure content is consistent across products
Creating and maintaining content libraries to ensure content is easily accessible
Developing and maintaining content standards and best practices
Working with developers to ensure content is properly implemented in products
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field.
Working knowledge of content management systems.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications OR other authoring tools
Excellent writing and editing skills.
