Purpose:

We are seeking a full-time experienced content writer. This position plays a pivotal role in growing our brand awareness and lead generation by creating useful and inspiring content for websites, blogs, infographics, emails, video scripts, print collateral, and more.

We are looking for someone who can tell our story through engaging content and effectively use key words to ensure SEO optimization. The ideal candidate should have a proven record of producing content that increases engagement. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write compelling material.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Research, write and edit content from start to finish.
  • Have a brand publisher mindset: create the content our audience is looking for and then optimize the path from top to bottom of the funnel (buyer journey).
  • Determine messaging and content strategy across customer-facing marketing and advertising channels, including website, emails, digital ads and social media.
  • Ability to write long- and short-form content across marketing and advertising channels
  • Deep understanding of how to conduct interviews, research projects, audits, and analysis to complete a writing assignment.
  • Ability to follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Develop content for multiple platforms, such as press releases, announcements, websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs
  • Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
  • Work with internal and external SEO team to develop long-form content that supports SEO goals.
  • Ensure consistency in voice, messaging and approach across all written materials.


Qualification and Education Requirements:

  • A degree in communications or journalism and 3+ years as a professional writer/content developer. Marketing experience helpful.
  • Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio, specifically as it pertains to blog writing and product page writing.
  • Experience writing long and short-form content across marketing and advertising channels.
  • An experienced writer, editor, and all-around storyteller who can blend creativity with precision.
  • Demonstrated understanding of B2C marketing as well as lead generation and buyer journey.
  • Native English speaker, with an impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
  • Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SEO copywriting techniques.


Other Duties:

  • Ability to write from a content brief.
  • Proven ability to write cohesively and with proper grammar without using AI or ChatGPT.
  • Ability to write similar content while avoiding duplication.
