Content Strategist (Remote)

Location: Remote, must work EST hours

Job Type: Contract

Compensation Range: $40 - 45 per hour

We are seeking a talented Content Strategist to join our client's team and help shape their content efforts!

As a Content Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the digital content strategy across various platforms. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across different departments to ensure cohesive and effective content delivery that aligns with our client's brand voice and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee, review, and edit content produced by a team of creative and technical writers.
• Manage content delivery timelines, handoffs, and workflow processes.
• Collaborate with product, design, development, SEO, and marketing teams to align content strategies with overall business goals.
• Develop concepts and write compelling copy that resonates with our target audience.
• Contribute to maintaining and evolving our content strategy under the guidance of leadership.
• Attend and actively participate in project meetings, providing updates on content-related tasks and milestones.
• Stay informed about developer specifications and design best practices to ensure content quality and compatibility.
• Ensure consistency of tone, voice, and quality across all content pieces.
• Utilize content management systems like Sitecore and WordPress for content publishing and management.
• Conduct or oversee content audits to assess content organization, relevance, and effectiveness.
• Engage in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in data analytics to measure content effectiveness and inform strategy.
• Proven experience leading content teams and managing content creation and delivery.
• Strong familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), including Sitecore and WordPress.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• 3-5 years of experience in digital copywriting or content strategy, preferably with CMS experience.
