Job Overview:
The Content Strategist at ThriveCart is responsible for developing, planning, and managing a company's
content strategy to achieve business goals and meet audience needs. This role involves creating and
curating content that aligns with the brand's voice, ensures consistency across all platforms, and drives
engagement, traffic, and conversions.

backgrounds and companies like Shopify, Salesforce, and BigCommerce, and we are running like an
independent SaaS company within a PE fund.

Job Overview:
The Content Strategist at ThriveCart is responsible for developing, planning, and managing a company's
content strategy to achieve business goals and meet audience needs. This role involves creating and
curating content that aligns with the brand's voice, ensures consistency across all platforms, and drives
engagement, traffic, and conversions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business objectives and audience needs.
- Conduct thorough market research and audience analysis to identify content opportunities and gaps.
- Define content goals, KPIs, and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the content strategy.
- Create and manage an editorial calendar to ensure a consistent flow of content.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, design, product, and sales, to plan and produce high-quality content.
- Write, edit, and proofread content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
- Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
- Use data and analytics to track content performance and make data-driven decisions to improve content effectiveness.
- Continuously update and repurpose existing content to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Develop and execute content distribution plans to maximize reach and engagement.
- Leverage social media, email marketing, and other channels to promote content.
- Collaborate with influencers, partners, and other stakeholders to amplify content reach.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand's voice, tone, and style guidelines.
- Maintain consistency in messaging across all content and platforms.
- Engage with the audience through comments, social media interactions, and other channels.
- Gather feedback and insights from the audience to inform future content strategies.
- Work closely with content creators, designers, and other team members to produce high-quality content.
- Manage freelance writers, editors, and other contributors as needed.
- Provide guidance and feedback to ensure content meets quality standards and strategic goals.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to create engaging and informative content for various platforms and audiences.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure content performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to develop and implement effective content strategies.
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proven track record in marketing and sales;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret performance metrics;
- Strong organizational and project management skills;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively;
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and content creation tools; and
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field;
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Proven experience working in the SaaS environment; and
- Demonstrated success in developing content strategy.
