Job Summary

The Content Specialist will contribute to the development and growth of our content-driven automotive software products. You will research, strategize and write content with the user experience in mind and offer a content strategy perspective throughout each product’s lifecycle to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions of the Job

  • Conducting high-quality research to inform content, stay up to date on market trends and contribute to our overall content strategy
  • Writing copy that’s consistent, concise and in line with the goals of each respective product
  • Editing images and videos according to our standards and best practices
  • Maintaining several content libraries comprising explainer copy, images and videos 2 Last Revised: August 2023
  • Monitoring AI-driven conversations and working with the wider product team to implement strategic improvements
  • Managing and prioritizing projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Self-editing assignments for accuracy and relevancy
  • Collaborating with other writers, designers and cross-functional teammates to deliver compelling content solutions
  • Auditing content regularly to identify and drive necessary improvements across all products

Requirements

Required Skills

  • Superior research, writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to develop different types of content, including in-product, UI/UX and AIdriven, conversation design copy
  • Strong attention to detail, especially regarding spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Capable of working both independently and as a productive member of a team
  • Ability to manage time efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eager to take initiative to complete tasks and achieve goals on or ahead of schedule
  • Willing to be open and receptive to feedback and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fastpaced environment
  • Proficient in Google Workspace productivity tools

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications or another relevant field preferred; 1+ years of professional experience writing content for digital products; Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro and other Adobe products is a plus.
