Nexus Labs is looking for a rockstar Content Marketing Manager to join our team. This is a fun and mission-critical role. You’ll be tasked with creating a content strategy that drives our audience growth. We’re looking for someone who can think strategically while also getting into the weeds and executing. We want you to obsess over the user journey and keep improving it.


The good news is we have a core audience that loves what we do! We’ve had a lot of success that you’ll be able to capitalize on. This is a first-time hire for this role so we’ll be co-creating it together. To date, we’ve built our audience and community organically so there is a lot of untapped potential. We’re looking for the right person to come in and accelerate our growth.  


You’ll be responsible for growing the Nexus Labs audience by setting our content strategy, working with internal teams and freelancers to create content, distributing content effectively, analyzing the results, and applying your insights to future campaigns. You’ll lead the process end-to-end as Nexus Labs creates industry-defining content across a variety of mediums, including newsletters, podcasts, webinars, articles, guides, case studies, courses, conference agenda, and more. 


The ideal candidate has a strong marketing and content production background, with experience in growing audiences, specifically newsletters. You are an excellent writer, project manager, and collaborator who can create structure and processes. Bonus points if you’re a bit of a tech nerd. :) 


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive audience growth and content marketing strategy
  • Own various content programs from end to end, including planning, production, editing, publication, distribution, promotion, and reporting
  • Coordinate with other stakeholders at Nexus Labs, our customers, buyers, and subject matter experts to create a pipeline of useful content that meaningfully gives our community value
  • Repurpose content that has been successful into new mediums 
  • Analyze all current content channels to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Create engaging content across various mediums, including newsletters, podcasts, webinars, articles, case studies, and courses
  • Integrate plan with content for NexusCon, our conference happening in Sept 2024 
  • Monitor and analyze content performance, optimizing based on findings 
  • Think creatively and bring innovative approaches to our content strategy


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in a relevant marketing or content marketing role
  • A portfolio of content you’ve created and deployed in-market
  • A demonstrated track record of driving meaningful results
  • Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, web analytics, and newsletter tools
  • The ability to track, measure, and report on the efficacy of your programs
  • Experience managing freelancer relationships as part of the content creation process


You’ll be joining a small close-knit team of kind good-hearted individuals. Our HQ is in Boulder, CO. This role is remote and requires minimal travel.
