Rizco, a brand-led marketing agency, is looking for an experienced and motivated Content Manager with at least 3 years of experience in the marketing and design industry to join our dynamic team. Agency experience is preferred. We seek a highly skilled and creative individual to manage our content marketing initiatives across various digital platforms, including blogs, social media channels, email marketing campaigns, websites, and SEO strategies for Rizco’s clients. The ideal candidate will develop, execute, and optimize content that aligns with each client’s brand voice and business objectives, driving engagement, traffic, and conversions.


Attention to detail is a priority. The candidate must have solid organizational skills in combination with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously. This position requires reliable and confident leadership, communication, and managerial skills and a deep understanding of marketing and content concepts and trends. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for developing, reviewing, analyzing, and editing written work.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets.
  • Collaborate with the strategy, digital, and design teams to plan and develop site content, style, and layout.

Content Creation:

  • Produce high-quality content for the company blog, including articles, press releases, and multimedia posts.
  • Create and manage engaging content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok). Includes planning and scheduling content.
  • Develop compelling email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage subscribers.
  • Write SEO-friendly content to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
  • Stay updated with content best practices that especially impact digital technologies and social media ROI.

Content Management:

  • Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of content.
  • Edit, proofread, and improve posts.
  • Planning and scheduling content.
  • Optimize web content according to SEO best practices.
  • Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of brand voice.
  • Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network and increase followers and engagement.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Use analytics tools to track and report content performance and engagement.
  • Provide regular feedback and insights to the marketing team based on content performance data.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the marketing, design, and development teams to ensure content aligns with brand standards and campaign goals.
  • Coordinate with freelance writers, graphic designers, and other content creators.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adjust the content strategy as needed.


Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in content management, content creation, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience creating and managing blog content, social media, and email marketing content.
  • Experience with SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Remote work experience. (Not required)
  • Team player.

Skills:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing tools (e.g., MailChimp, Klaviyo).
  • Proven experience with MS Office and Google Drive.
  • Knowledge of SEO tools and techniques (e.g., Google Analytics, Semrush).
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform content decisions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with graphic design and multimedia content creation.
  • Familiarity with video editing software.
  • Certification in content marketing or a related field.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require occasional travel for events and conferences.
  • Remote Work in New Jersey - 8 hours a day, M-F.
