Job Title - Content Designer Level IV (Content Strategist)

Location - San Francisco, CA - Remote

Duration - 3 months contract

Pay Rate Range - $60.00 - $65.00/hr. on W2 without benefits

Summary

• The Team is seeking an experienced UX writer with strong project management experience to support a‬ content design team working on developing the next generation of wearables.‬‭
• Your work will‬ contribute to advancing the current version of the wearables companion app which helps‬ our users to be connected and empowered in the world as they‬‭ capture and share all of life’s‬ fleeting experiences, while staying present in the moment‬‭.

• The individual will be a strong systems thinker and UX practitioner and have experience building‬ design and interaction systems. The ideal candidate will be able to grasp new and emerging concepts quickly and develop a strategy that‬ meets the needs of the target audience.

Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• ‭Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage feature requirements, align partners‬ and develop educational feature and tip content as needed to support the Home‬ experience in the Wearables app
• Engage closely with the Wearables CD team, Product Design, Product Management and‬ engineering partners to ensure that new Home features or modifications to current‬
• ‭Home features are optimized for performance and meet technical requirements
• Enable the team to scale their support by developing standards to enable internal teams‬ to build Home content with increased efficiency
• Deliver content on time and in line with project team milestones experience influencing product and design decisions, understanding the‬ downstream impact on messaging and clarity of language
• Continuously research and stay up-to-date on AR technologies and trends to inform‬ design decisions
• Prioritize strategically to carve your path through the work, sizing different‬ efforts and focusing your time based on need and impact

Performance Measurement:

• Performance is measured on deliverables and feedback from the team.
• This individual will be working closely with Content Designer.
• There will be assigned tasks and feedback from partners. Expectation is to represent content design within a short period of time.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong Figma experience required
• Strong UX writing skills – feature-level work; intake this content and streamline it
• Project management skills
• Experience navigating multiple partners
• Ability to collect information and distill that information to get the message across to where it needs to be
• Comfortable applying localization and accessibility labels to content

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with AI, AR or smart glasses technology
