As our Graphic Designer & Motions Editor, you will play a crucial role in creating visually compelling assets for digital ads, that effectively communicate our brand message and resonate with our target audience. Our goal is to create short form, attention-grabbing video content and static image assets.Successful candidates are creative and collaborative with excellent technical skills and can work well under tight deadlines and shifting priorities with experience in designing for paid social.

Responsibilities

• Work with the marketing team to support all marketing initiatives particularly ad visual creation including stills, videos, and gifs,
• Create and utilize templates both for creative development and platform building, consistently adding to these and improving them.
• Generate strategic, click-worthy messaging for various channels and touchpoints
• Create direct response (DR) and native ads based on acquisition briefs and creative brainstorms
• Works closely with the creative team to transform concepts into visual executions that articulate the Ruti brand and deliver on business needs.
• Own the design and creation of digital ads, with occasional other design assets such as campaign concepts, site assets, presentations, and social assets.
• Own projects from kickoff through completion, presenting your work to teammates/stakeholders and incorporate feedback into thoughtful final assets.
• Improve the creative workflow process, including finding efficiencies in leveraging templates while still maintaining creativity and delivering added value to the consumer.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design and marketing trends.
• Analyze and optimize creative for performance and best practices.

Who You Are

• 3-5 years of relevant design experience
• Experience in Adobe programs - Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro (or other video editing software)
• Must have a design talent, including detailed sense of typography and design layout.
• Proficient with video editing and content creation for social platforms
• Must have a creative portfolio that video and still graphics
• Strong communicator and have the ability to prioritize and manage work while adhering to critical timelines.
• Passionate about branding, storytelling, and producing engaging content and campaigns.
• Able to own a project from start to finish, working autonomously, but welcoming feedback and collaboration.
• Thorough and Conscientious - Demonstrate initiative and provide complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.
• Nimble - Able to handle multiple tasks and meet required deadlines.
• Detail-oriented - Ability to consistently communicate and follow up on priorities.
• Team Player - Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.
• Initiative - A self-starter and looks for areas needing improvement.
• Previous experience in Design for a Fashion or Beauty or luxury DTC brand preferred.
