A renowned enterprise that is a mainstay in the Food & Beverage domain is looking to add a highly visible Consumer Insights Manager to its rapidly growing team. If you are proficient in all things related to qualitative/quantitative data, are adept at survey tools such as Qualtrics/Survey Monkey, and have no problem being stakeholder-facing in an individual contributor capacity, then this can be a great opportunity for you!
THE ROLE– Consumers Insights Manager
The Consumer Insights Manager role will play a pivotal part in driving conceptual insights, trend analysis, and sensory understanding to inform our client's brand and product strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer research methodologies, particularly in sensory products within the food and beverage industry, and a track record of successfully managing research projects from conception to delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently manage research projects, from designing briefs and questionnaires to analyzing data and crafting actionable insights.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, culinary teams, and marketing strategy teams to ensure seamless execution of research initiatives.
- Utilize a range of research methodologies, including focus groups, concept testing, central location tests (CLTs), mobile missions, and tracking studies.
- Conduct both quantitative and qualitative analysis to gain comprehensive insights into consumer perceptions and behaviors, with a strong emphasis on sensory evaluation.
- Collaborate with agency partners to design research studies and analyze reports, challenging findings where necessary to ensure rigor and accuracy.
- Take ownership of internal presentations on new insights and developments derived from agency reports.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Ample experience in consumer insights, market research, or related fields, with a focus on sensory products (e.g., food and beverage).
- Proven track record of managing custom studies and innovation projects, from inception to delivery.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing teams, and stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in conducting both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate research findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working with research tools and software such as Ipsos, Qualtrics, and SurveyMonkey, with a strong emphasis on leveraging sensory evaluation data.
