Construction Supervisor

A Construction Coordinator/ Supervisor is needed for a leading manufacturing organization outside of St. Louis, MO (near Tory, MO). The Construction Coordinator/ Supervisor oversee general contractors, subcontractors, budgets, and schedules for specific buildings within a plant construction project. Your responsibilities include managing construction contracts, conducting on-site inspections, and ensuring compliance with plans and specifications. You'll also be responsible for presenting status reports to the owner and implementing countermeasures to support project schedules.

The ideal candidate should possess over 5 years of project management experience in construction or A/E firms, with a focus on industrial facilities. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in cost estimating and scheduling. A degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is preferred, and equivalent experience overseeing skilled trades with supervisory roles is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) is necessary, and familiarity with Microsoft Project and AutoCAD is preferred.

• Manage general contractor and subcontractor activities
• Oversee project budget and schedule, including developing status reports and updating cost reports
• Facilitate communication between owner, contractor, and A/E firm
• Organize and conduct regular project meetings, documenting action items
• Coordinate project close-out activities, including as-built documentation and punch-list completion
• Conduct acceptance testing procedures
