Construction Superintendent plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all activities at a construction site. They ensure that projects align with blueprints and adhere to schedule plans. Specifically, for corporate interiors in office spaces, the Construction Superintendent focuses on creating efficient and safe work environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and other construction management personnel to determine budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
• Provide on-site direction during construction preparation.
• Hire and assign work to subcontractors.
• Maintain a daily log of job site operations, reporting to management as necessary.
• Implement cost-effective and efficient management techniques.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards (OSHA 10 and 30 certifications required).
• Perform quality control and safety checks.
• Make necessary operational changes to meet construction deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Superintendent with experience in commercial (office) interiors. ****** Please do not apply without this experience.
• Hotel/hospitality experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
• Familiarity with safety rules and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Procore or Bluebeam.
• Must be able to travel to Miami now, and West Palm Beach in the future.
