Adecco has partnered with a Commercial Construction Company in Houston, TX to hire a Commercial Construction Site Superintendent. This is a full time direct hire position with full benefits.
Commercial Construction Site Superintendent
As a Commercial Construction Site Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind bringing our unique projects to life. You'll orchestrate every aspect of the construction process, from initial planning to final handover, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, from pre-construction planning to final completion.
Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of commercial construction practices, including MEP systems, site work, concrete, steel, masonry, drywall, and interior finishes.
Resource Management: Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and vendors, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely project delivery.
Progress Tracking: Monitor project milestones and budget adherence, proactively addressing any deviations to keep projects on track.
Quality & Safety: Conduct regular site inspections to enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and THE COMPANY's quality standards.
Communication & Collaboration: Maintain open lines of communication with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients, fostering a collaborative environment that ensures project goals are met.
Documentation: Meticulously maintain project records, prepare progress reports, and ensure all project documentation is accurate and complete.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes and OSHA requirements.
Team Management: Lead and supervise on-site staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Multitasking: Effectively manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure all projects progress smoothly.
Qualifications
Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial construction site superintendent, with a track record of successful project delivery.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
