Construction Manager | Solar | San Jose, CA (Hybrid)

My client, a leading developer and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) firm specializing in commercial and industrial solar projects, is seeking a dedicated Construction Manager to join their growing team in Sunnyvale, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of renewable energy solutions in the heart of Silicon Valley.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of construction projects, focusing on safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and deadlines.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide leadership and guidance to on-site construction teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years experience in managing commercial or industrial construction projects, with a focus on renewable energy or solar preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel).
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
