Construction Manager

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Construction Manager to join their team. This position is located in Atlanta, Georgia!

​​​Duties:

• Attend and advise during scheduled project meetings
• Coordinate meetings and activities of vendors and cost managers
• Provide specific project data supporting cost and key performance indicator (KPI) metrics, invoices, process, and policies in order to communicate status to client partners
• Report on project progress regarding scope, schedule, standards, and budget
• Confirm the scoped resources are available for the job
• Partner with senior construction staff to procure additional materials as needed
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with implementation partners, Operations, Security, Authorities having jurisdiction, and leadership
• Provide oversight and communication with onsite contractors and vendors
• Conduct routine safety program, project, and contractor audits, and performs and participates in incident investigations
• Review engineering documentation/designs, site, and building plans by examining and analyzing technical information
• Monitor the approved project budget and provides oversight for project controls
• Perform field observations

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years related experience
• OSHA 10 Hour
• Understands how to read drawings and interpret building codes
• Licensed or Registered Architectural/ Engineering Professional
• Experience with Hyperscale Data Center Builds
• Experience with Six Sigma, LEAN Processed, Kaizen, and Total Quality Management
