Position: Construction Manager

Position Overview: As a Construction Manager at Identity Architects, you will be responsible for supporting the project team in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction of Identity Built projects which are our design build project types. This role involves overseeing various aspects of construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Construction Management or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and building codes. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working on a variety of construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial.
  • Certification in construction management (e.g., CCM, PMP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Knowledge of construction
  • Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

Scheduling and Resource Management:

  • Help manage project schedules, tracking progress and making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and labor to the construction site.

Quality Control and Compliance:

  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to verify work is being performed according to plans and specifications.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Good record keeping skills
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, inspection reports, and daily logs.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project status, highlighting any issues and proposed solutions.

Communication and Liaison:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for communication between the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to discuss project progress, issues, and solutions.

Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution:

  • Mediate field issues with good personality skills
  • Identify potential issues or delays and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Address and resolve any conflicts or discrepancies that arise during the construction process.

Budget and Cost Management:

  • Maintain a construction Budget
  • Managing project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost control measures are in place.
  • Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes, preparing purchase orders, and managing vendor relationships.
