Position Title: Construction Management Representative

Location: Colorado National Monument

Period Of Performance: 55 calendar days - exact dates of performance have yet to be determined but construction is anticipated to occur Summer 2024.

Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000 annually based on experience

Project Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Management Representative for an exciting opportunity at Colorado National Monument. We are always looking for hard working professionals to join our diverse workforce and gain experience on a large variety of projects.

Project/Position Overview:

This is a Tunnel Preservation Project located at Colorado National Monument near Grand Junction and Fruita, Colorado. It is anticipated that construction daily activity durations may fluctuate depending on the activity.

This role is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide technical assistance and support to CO during construction.
• Arrange, attend and facilitate a variety of meetings, including weekly meetings at the project site.
• Document issues encountered and problems experienced with the construction contractor.
• Review contractor's baseline and progress schedules
• Draft project related correspondence for NPS to review and issuance
• Inspect the work of the construction contractor for progress, workmanship, quality and conformance with contract documents, applicable building codes and safety standards
• Deliver reports, reviews, evaluations, design work, etc. to CO
• Review and process Construction Contractor's RFIs and assist in resolution, draft response, tracking, and follow up
• Ensure photographic documentation of work in progress
  
  

Required Education, Knowledge and Skills:

• Education and professional qualifications related to construction, architecture, and engineering
• 5+ years of experience with three phases of inside quality control.
• 3+ years' experience in structural/bridge/tunnel inspections, specifically Nationally Certified Tunnel Inspector is preferred
• Minimum of OSHA 30-hour construction safety training required
• Knowledge in construction practices including applicable building codes, applicable safety regulations, cost breakdown estimating and negotiating, and technical writing
• Knowledge of baseline schedules, report generation and critical path theory
• Ability to read and interpret plans, schedules, and other specifications
• Written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Knowledge of software including Microsoft Project, Word and Excel
• Maintain a valid driver's license
• Qualified applicant must be able to pass a background check
• Ability to walk or climb on a daily basis to observe contract performance
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
