About the Company

Our client is a top ENR GC specializing in Commerical, Education, and Healthcare Construction. They are dedicated to delivering high-quality ground-up projects up to $60 Million


Overview

As a Senior Estimator, you will lead the preparation and coordination of comprehensive estimates for large and complex projects across various construction methods including Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC), Design-Build (DB), and Design-Bid-Build (DBB). This senior-level role requires over 7 years of experience in construction estimating and may involve supervising junior staff.


Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage estimation processes from initial site visits and RFP analyses to final proposal submissions.
  • Analyze project scope, quantities, and cost data, identifying critical factors for project success.
  • Lead the bidding process, including solicitation, proposal evaluation, and analysis.
  • Mentor and coach junior estimators; assist in recruitment and training within the department.
  • Maintain proficiency with estimating software and tools such as cost models, dashboards, and RFI logs.
  • Stay updated with software advancements and participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities.
  • Undertake special projects and additional duties as assigned by executive leadership.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Design, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction estimating.
  • Proficient in MS Office and advanced estimation software.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to construction sites as needed.
