The San Diego office of SmithGroup is looking for a Construction Admin Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Receiving and triaging submittals and RFI’s from Contractors and Consultants.
- Logging data into TonicDM database.
- Managing the flow of information between the owner, contractor and AE team during the CA process.
- Coordinating submissions of Amended Construction Documents to OSPHD, DSA or other AHJ's.
- Manageing documents in Bluebeam Studio.
- Other duties as assigned by Project Manager.
- Travel to jobsite one day per week.
- Managing Certificates of Insurance (COI's).
- Creating and Editing AIA contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Word and Excel.
- Proficency in Bluebeam Studio.
- 1-5 years of professional construction administration/ management or architectural experience.
- Proficiency in TonicDM, Prolog Construction, Autodesk Construction Cloud, eBuilder, Procore or other construction management software.
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with Construction Administration process.
- Ability to set priorities, multitask and work independently and collaboratively under strict deadlines.
- Revit proficiency strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in AIA contract Catina Platform.
- Undergraduate degree in Architecture or Construction Management a plus.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
