About The Role
We're seeking a dynamic Congress Specialist, Logistics to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in managing logistics for various events. Your responsibilities will include supplier management, sourcing, and communication, as well as coordinating ground transportation, ensuring compliance, handling contracts, and managing post-event surveys. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving problems under pressure, and excel at building professional relationships, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for logistical arrangements such as dine-arounds and airport transfers.
Collaborate closely with suppliers, reviewing proposals, contracts, and invoices to maintain audit standards.
Coordinate print materials and communications for assigned events.
Support on-site logistics during events, ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a collaborative environment.
Strong interpersonal skills for building lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
Hands-on experience in onsite event operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution (preferred).
Experience in the event planning or pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
Familiarity with Cvent (a plus, but not required).
Working Conditions
This role is fully remote, offering flexibility in work hours with standard hours of 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and an hour break.
COVID vaccination may be required for this position.
