Configuration Manager

Responsibilities

• Establish and/or maintain a system to record modifications to hardware, software, or documentation.
• Maintain allocated, functional, and physical baseline control and ability to perform audit support.
• Assist with the review of engineering change requests to assess impact upon configuration baseline and logistics support elements.
• Maintain configuration control records and technical documents.
• Work closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure accurate and well-documented product baseline.
• Experience in technical writing and documentation pertaining to all aspects of IT.
• Experience in preparing technical documentation, including conducting research on applicable standards.
• Gather, analyze, and compose technical information.
• Conduct research and ensure the use of proper technical terminology.
• Translate technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and nontechnical personnel.
• For applications built to run in a Windows environment, use the standard help compiler to prepare all on-line documentation.
• Demonstrate experience and ability to work independently or under only general direction.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience
• Five (5) years relevant experience
• Certifications
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification Category IAM Level II (One of the following)
• CAP, CASP+CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, or CCISO
• Clearance
• Must possess a Secret clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC)
