Geodesicx, Inc. is seeking an individual with expertise in Configuration Management (CM) for an important vehicular C4ISR/EW project in the Charleston, SC area.
Responsibilities
Implement and enforce CM policies, processes, and procedures, with a strong emphasis on using CMPro for effective version control of all deliverables.
Manage project workflows and assets using Rational Asset Manager and Rational Team Concert
Maintain a central CM repository in CMPro, ensuring that all sponsor deliverables are efficiently managed and accessible to government Integrated Product Team (IPT) members as authorized by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
Organize and support various review boards and system engineering events such as Software Design Reviews (SDRs), Software Review Boards (SRBs), Requirement Review Boards (RRBs), Engineering Review Boards (ERBs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and Configuration Review Boards (CRB).
Work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle.
Provide change management and product configuration management guidance.
Requirements
7-10+ years of professional experience with configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management.
Proficiency in CMPro.
Must demonstrate deep expertise in CM, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
Must have a solid understanding and familiarity with Rational Asset Manager and Rational Team Concert, as these tools will be integral in managing project workflows and assets. This knowledge is essential for the management and coordination of these systems, requiring both administrative skills and a technical grasp of CM processes.
