Computer Vision | Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Computer Vision | Machine Learning Engineer with strong experience in AI, Semantic Segmentation using PyTorch, and 3D and depth map technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in applying these technologies for civil infrastructure inspection and management. You will work on developing cutting-edge solutions that combine classical computer vision techniques with state-of-the-art machine learning approaches.

Responsibilities:

1.     Design, research, implement, test, and deploy enhancements to our AI and machine learning engines.

2.     Develop new services based on semantic segmentation, 3D geometry, and depth map technologies.

3.     Write robust, highly tested, well-crafted code.

4.     Contribute to and participate in code reviews and product development roadmaps.

5.     Continuously improve and innovate the software engineering process.

Qualifications:

1.     Experience developing semantic segmentation solutions using PyTorch in difficult applications.

2.     Experience with 3D and depth map technologies, including camera calibration and depth estimation.

3.     Experience using synthetic data to reduce costs with data annotation and improve model results.

4.     Strong Python, C++, and CUDA coding skills for quick prototyping and robust software development.

5.     Proficiency in classical computer vision and image processing techniques using tools like OpenCV.

Bonus Qualifications:

1.     Familiarity with GIS concepts (e.g., geographic coordinate systems, geographic transformations).

2.     Familiarity with AWS cloud.

3.     Experience working in collaborative development environments and related technologies (version control, CI/CD, test automation).

4.     Knowledge of 2D and 3D computer graphics.

5.     Proficiency with Docker, Linux, and MLOps practices.
