We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Computer Science Faculty Member to join our teaching faculty. As a member of our team, you will inspire current and prospective students in the broad field of computer science, encouraging them to explore various tracks and prepare for future careers or university transfers. Your role will be crucial in promoting our program and building enrollment, fostering a passion for computer science among students in the region.
Responsibilities
Teach, advise, and engage with students, focusing on Computer Networking, Computer Technology, cybersecurity, and related fields.
Utilize diverse instructional methods to accommodate students with varying educational backgrounds, ensuring mastery of course objectives.
Collaborate with marketing and recruitment teams to enhance program visibility and enrollment.
Contribute to curriculum development and assessment, striving for teaching excellence and continuous improvement.
Participate in outreach activities to communities served by, including regional high school programs and clubs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution.
Colorado Career and Technical Education postsecondary teaching credential in Information Technology, or ability to obtain.
Minimum 2000 hours of verifiable work experience in information technology.
Industry certifications such as CompTia A+, Network+, or higher (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
At least one year of teaching or training experience in computer information systems, preferably in higher education.
Familiarity with online delivery methods and current industry standards in curriculum development.
Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
Industry certifications in cybersecurity.
Experience with distance learning technologies.
Demonstrated success in working with diverse student populations.

Salary And Benefits
Salary ranges from $52,725 to $68,900 based on education, skills, and experience. Benefits include health, life, dental, and vision insurance, along with a comprehensive benefit package including tuition reimbursement.
