The Compliance Specialist is responsible for leading and/or assisting in multiple functions pertaining to vendor approval, insurance renewals, COIs, and business licenses.
What You’ll Do….
Process and manage licensing applications and renewals
Maintain accurate records of licenses and certifications
Assist in preparing documentation for audits, inspections, and renewals
Provide administrative support to executives on related matters
Conduct research on licensing requirements and regulations
Responsible for ensuring proper tracking of all compliance items within the Company’s project management software
Identify and implement processes to maximize efficiency
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
Assess, manage and mitigate risks
Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
Work with our operating teams to monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
What you’ll need…
Bachelor’s Degree in any field
Minimum of two years’ experience related to insurance renewals, COIs, or business licenses
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with varying deadlines and priorities
Adept with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
